VENDU Berlin 2018
”I lived in Paris for 8 years. At some point I needed to move somewhere else. I moved to Berlin, it was amazing, full of great experiences, very inspiring. And same for Bilbao. Changing your habits, pushing yourself in a new life, starting over somewhere else, I think it’s something I need. It allowed me to start sculpture.”

______INSPIRATION
“Everywhere actually. it’s very easy if you keep your eyes open - we live in a world full of images. Everything can be an idea or a subject for inspiration. I think it’s even harder to pick the right idea than it is to find one.”

”Religious paintings are also a great source of inspiration, their compositions always give me thrills. You can easily isolate one or two faces and put them under the light.”
”I love being inspired by women, by their attitude, by their strength.”

Iris’s painting

“Some subjects are great for sculpture but also painting and ceramic, but the result will be so different. A face is
full of different aspects and this is what I want to show."

“I want to make a relation between the subject and the way you can see it. Through many ways of representations. The connection between your eyes and the way you see it. I hope that people will see things differently through my works.”
